The Design Monkey, LLC, does the volunteer shirts for the LeAnn Rimes concert in Wausau.
This spring The Design Monkey, LLC, was contacted by the great folks from Kinzie Benefit Concerts, LLC. They wondered if I would be willing to help them out with some volunteer shirts that they would need for an upcoming concert. As soon as they mentioned it would be for none other then the gorgeous and talented LeAnn Rimes, I was hooked. I've loved listening to her since she came on the music scene with her first hit in 1996. That smooth sultry voice...sorry let me get back to the project. They needed their volunteers to stand out in the crowd, so we picked the subtly bright (and very popular right now) lime colored shirt. We kept the costs down on the shirts by going with a 50/50 blend. The reason being is that KBC holds these concerts in order to raise money for local charities. The more money they can keep, the more can be given to those in need. This particular concert was for the Children's Miracle Network, an organization that holds some meaning for my family. Also this concert was at the end of June, and things can get pretty hot and sticky so a lighter, cooler shirt was appreciated. The talented artists at KBC supplied me some great artwork. We did the shirts and delivered them ahead of schedule, along with some polos for the main managers of the evening. The concert was great and I'm sure it was because of the great shirts we did and not the incredible star that was on stage. Now if I could convince LeAnn to let me take a shot at her tour shirts.
